plot reset + TT question

Will time travelling affect plot resets?
Like if I time travel back a few hours on the same day, will the plot still be unplaced and I can keep resetting?
Same question for time travelling back or forward one day.

For setting the time back a couple hours in the same day - yes, but you can only do it this way by changing the 3DS clock, not in game.

Traveling forward or backward a day will cause the plot to set since the game will recognize the original plotting day then the TT'd day as villager setting up their home.
