I'm really debating plot resetting to get a villager I want (Molly) to come in my tent, I saw this was a nice method if there is a certain villager you really want, but it's really time consuming xD But I'm wondering if some of you have actually tried it and succeeded .. ? Or is it just a waste of time, there is sooooo many villagers

I would say it's a waste of time. You can just find someone here that has her amiibo card and can let you adopt her from them. Better than resetting. Your chances to even get a camper that day is like... 20%. Then when you finally get a tent, the chances of it being Molly is 1 in 300+. Not worth the time, especially with amiibo cards nowadays. Adopt her from someone. This method won't drive you nuts :P

ah thats true >_< i find it hard to find someone with the exact card i want XD

What villager are you looking for specifically? Maybe someone here could help you out and save you a lot of time and headache :)

For me, it's only worth to plot reset the campsite a day or two after you build it since it'll always be a guaranteed tent. If you really want to get a new villager that way. Otherwise, nope.

Yeah...that can take DAYS. I honestly have no patience or wish to test my luck in plot resetting for a villager. It's just a low probability, not only are there over 300 villagers, but you also have to count in chance of not even having a camper.

It'd just be my last resort if I was really desperate, and I'd only do it for like 30 minutes.
