I'm sure someone asked this question and I tried looking for a thread about it but I couldn't find anything.
Anyway, so does anyone know if Plot/Camp Resetting Trick ruins your save file? Has anyone actually had a bad experience with it? I'm so scared and paranoid about it for some reason. I wasn't before but I kinda am. I guess I just need some reassuring about it. haha!

Thanks!

I've probably been resetting for 2 years with my physical copy, often turning the game off with the power button and I have no problem with my game copy.

It might be different for digital copies though, no idea.

It's very unlikely, but can happen. If anything, just never turn it off when your game is saving. That can definitely corrupt your save file. But if you're just checking for a camper or plot resetting, I think hitting the home button and exiting the game is mostly safe to do. You could always give your game a break too and maybe after doing it a couple of times just power it all down and wait possibly 10 mins or so before starting again if you think you're doing it too often, give it a cool down period.

Reading all of your comments were super reassuring! It makes me feel a lot better and less paranoid. Thank you! You really helped me, a lot! You're all awesome! ^^
