please help me with my indecisiveness with villagers!

so i’m extremely indecisive when it comes to my villagers, (even my town, but that’s a whole different thread.) i’ve come to a point that i’m pretty conflicted on who and what i want for the last remaining spots of my town. so i decided to get some input from you guys! i like having all completely different villagers so that means no repeats of the same animal species. i also like have atleast one of every personality type. now, this is when things get tricky. all the snooty’s i like i already have species of and i’m totally lost right now.

my current line up:
wendy (peppy) - strong maybe will be replaced
raymond (smug)
julian (smug)
fang (cranky)
teddy (jock)
marina (normal) - maybe will be replaced
flurry (normal) - probably will be replaced
fuchsia (uchi)
zucker (lazy) - will be replaced
sherb (lazy)

i like villagers that look like they are interesting and perhaps have a backstory. (i also love some underrated villagers.) so let me know what you guys think! it can be based off if you think they will go well together with the rest of my lineup or just your own personal preference. you can even recommend me other villagers that you like. just try to keep in mind about the repeat species thing.

normals options:
poppy
stella

snooty options: (very conflicted because i already have species of these kinds)
whitney
willow
diana

peppy options:
pippy

personally i think it would be very cute to have both pippy & poppy on your island, just bc of their similar names!

You should definitely consider Piper and Blanche as your peppy and snooty options. You wouldn't repeat species, they're both great, and I think they would fit the others villagers.

Poppy is an absolute sweetheart and I can't recommend her enough <3

Diana is my favorite villager so I'm totally unbiased in saying that you should choose her ^^ Deers are my fave species so you can never have too many!

 

[Blueskyy]

Blanche is a good snooty. She is a swan and Japanese themed.

personally i think it would be very cute to have both pippy & poppy on your island, just bc of their similar names!

i have my houses grouped in two’s so they could even be right next to eachother

I think Willow is cuter than Wendy. If you wanted your other Snoots you'd need to get rid of either Fuchsia or Fang, so you'd need to find other Uchis or Crankies you like. I think it's generally pretty hard for people to find multiple Uchis they like.

This is my opinion on Crankies if you do want to take Whitney as your Snooty and replace Fang:
Best: Knox (chicken), Hopper (penguin)
Great: Kabuki (cat), Spike (rhino)
Good: Admiral (bird), Bruce (deer), Butch (dog), Octavian (octopus), Static (squirrel), Dobie (wolf)
Heinous: Chow, Curt, Ike, T-Bone, Vladimir, Croque, Wart Jr., Gruff, Boyd, Cesar, Peewee, Harry, Monty, Limberg, Rizzo, Rasher, Rolf

i used to have diana actually! i loved her a lot, but because i had fuchsia i had to let her go. my problem is they made the wolves, sheep’s, and deers way too cute for me to pick

you’re right my hardest part was finding an uchi i actually liked. thank you for going so in depth about it! it helps a lot. also i love the “Heinous” section lol.

Btw, someone gave me the suggestion yesterday to put sheep in shirts instead of leaving them in their default dresses. It actually uncovers a 3rd layer of floof and makes them look way better. You can preview you it'll look on Harv's island. I recommend against putting them in halter tops - although it does reveal even more floof, it tends to accentuate the squished effect.

Willow was a dreamie for me in NL and CF, and I still remember her house placement from back then. I'm actually also considering getting rid of Wendy and getting Willow or another sheep instead lol

i did not know that i’ll definitely try that! i have iffy feelings about the shirts vs the scarfs! like one part of me likes that they look like little squishes sausages, but i wish i could they look a bit more, flattering. i love how willow looks because of bright wool and how pretty she is, but i also really like how goofy and cute wendy and stella look :/
