stupid question....how do you check your hours played?

Check your Activity List at Activity log.

I don't have it all on one system, it's split over half a dozen, but when you add it up, it's over 5,000.

mine was at 6400 before i reset my ds..
..i'm now at 193 cx

Well I don't know for sure because my ds is counting the time before I reset, the time I've played on my husband's cartridge and the total time the title screen is open. I know I have the gold badge for it and I have 694 hours in my activity log. So probably around 550-600 for my main town. I've had my main town since the end of December.
