Playing New Leaf in a different language

I play in English, because most games aren't available in Swedish... But even given the option, I'd still pick English, considering the online communities where I talk about AC is in English. I've been learning German for the last year though, and I'd like to think I'm pretty decent at it (especially understanding it written), so I've been kind of considering changing it to that.

I play in english because i have to and im not currently living in japan

the THING is, if you get the english copy of pokemon x there's this dialogue from a foreigner that's in japanese and i just couldn't stop freaking out about how stereotypical it was, plus getting really frustrated about how the other npcs kept saying 'haha what's that?? id ont understand a word you're saying!!!' when i did and i was like 'just let me go jfc'

but at least it was good japanese e_e
