Playing Animal Crossing without sight!

This is awesome, thanks for sharing. Also, word of advice: never define a person by their disability ("blind guy"). It would be better to say a guy/person who is blind, or something along those lines.

I catch fish by sound...every single time. It's the only way I can calm my anxieties and avoid pulling the lure too quickly. I also listen for balloons regularly. And shooting stars. The game really does have an excellent soundscape. Great to see the blind community is able to enjoy it with the rest of us.

Yeah, sorry. I guess I went with "blind guy" right away because that's how he titles himself in his videos and their titles. I suppose it's a bit different when you're describing yourself as opposed to describing others, though. I'll change it.

Very cool! I love his playthrough. I'm so glad that this game has enough accessibility to be enjoyed by visually impaired and blind gamers!

Woah this is really cool, the sound in game is actually phenomenal and glad that they are able to utilize the feature to play the game the way they can play it, so happy for him to be able to enjoy the game despite his disablity, hoping for more content from him :D

This is great to see that people who lack sight can still enjoy the game! The sound design is very well made and I like how he uses it to his advantage to know where he is on the island.

I LITERALLY THOUGHT ABOUT HOW THAY WOULD WORK YESTERDAY .
Thats amazing

Dang, I think I went to high school with this guy... small world! 😳
That's so cool, and one of the beautiful things about NH, that you can customize your island to fit your needs! I love how he has like a collection of cool sounds in his house, I hope he gets to find so many more! Frogs, cicadas, various fans and water things... rugs might be really helpful too for finding stuff in his house. Man even the wisp spirit pieces make their own sounds. I never thought about how much that helps people with blindness! I'm happy for Ross that he's found a game he can actually get into and enjoy without his disability preventing him!
