I've been using the Dream Suite a lot nowadays for inspiration on how I'd decorate out my town using QR paths, flowers, etc. and I've noticed how a lot of towns that do have paths also have their villagers' houses close together, but as for me, I've never bothered with the placement of houses and let villagers move in where ever.

This is what my town map looks like so far! Is it possible to still have a coherent path be put in my town? Or do I need to find another way to beauty up my town?

You might want to try a single tile, stepping stone, or dirt path. That would give you more flexibility to work your path through tight, uneven areas.

You could still run a larger, more elaborate main path to your major buildings if you want and then use the smaller path just to lead to the villager houses.

Hey CeeJay, looking at the town layout, I definitely recommend using curved and geographical-flowing paths to your advantage to optimize your town's tile space and flow. :) Attached below is a rough sketch I made of a possible path system idea that you can follow without taking into account rocks and current sitting PWPs (since I couldn't tell looking at the map). Black paths are double-wide (2 tiles wide) while red paths are side paths/fishing paths that are 1 tile wide. With this plan, I recommend demolishing both bridges and relocating them so your options are more open. With this plan, you also have many options open for PWPs, gardens, villager houses, etc.. :) I hope this helps get you started on finding the perfect path system for your town! :D

Also, feel free to check out my Dream Address below in my signature for inspiration on this path system design approach! :)
