Pitfall seeds?

I thought they didn’t exist but my pig villager Curly just gave me a recipe for pitfall seeds since he’s crafting it now.. did anyone else know of this ?

Yeah I've seen quite a few people getting them lately, not sure if they were a timed addition or were added in the latest patch on the sly or what!

You can also learn the recipe for Pitfall Seeds by burying and digging up a Pitfall Seed.

Yep, all the recipes that use weeds make me really wish I didn't sell all the weeds I picked when I first arrived to the island lol. I could have crafted so many pitfalls.

They’ve been there since launch. It was discovered by someone on these forums a few weeks ago.

I'm trying to get the nook mile achievement for selling weeds and after that I'm gonna be just saving up on weeds whenever I island hop to find villagers.
