Monique will ping eventually for sure.

I've heard conflicting reports about the amiibo (both card and figure) villagers, if they can ping or not. I have not had them ping yet, but I haven't had mine for very long.

This question hasn't ever been answered for sure. I don't think anyone really knows for sure. They definitely stay longer than non card villagers.
