Hello!
I accidentally sold my piggy bank without noticing and later I saved my game... Can I get it again from the Post Office if I save 1 million bells? Or is it hopeless to get a new one using this method?
Thanks in advance!

It's a one-time gift per person. If you want another, you'll need to create another character or buy it from someone here.

I can give you a piggy bank :) I don't want mine, nor do I need any bells, so unless you have an items tradelist you can have it for free!

Don't get another piggy bank. The piggy bank is evil. It takes away your bells every time you press A next to it and doesn't give them back.

It is very cute. Ha, yeah I didn't realise it was taking my bells until someone pointed it out! It would be amazing if you could smash it open as well!

I also have a spare one if you need it! :D

Wait it takes bells?! O.O Omg, everyday I have been pressing A on that piggy bank but never knew it took my bells.

And for your question you can only get the piggy bank once on each character.

Yeah, but it puts them in your bank account, so it's all good...lol.

It puts them in your bank account? Oh! That's a little bit of a relief to know! :D I thought it just stole your money. Haha.

You will have to make a new character, make it place an item into Retail for 999,999 and another for 1bell then wait a day. This method will get 1mil into the players account and also grant you your piggy bank. Unfortunately ALL rewards from bank are one time per character.

It takes one bell at a time, just to clarify, that's why it makes the sound of a singular coin dropping. It's not gonna suck up everything you have in your pockets at the press of a button.

Red Cat likes giving misleading advice, so take most of their informative posts with a giant block of salt.

I didn't know the Piggy Bank did that! Now I want to display mine again and walk up to it and press it a bunch of times!

Sometimes I give people really helpful advice. I understand how a lot of stuff works in this game, so when it comes to complex or lesser known stuff, I'm usually honest and try to help people. For stuff that seems obvious though, I like to stretch the truth occasionally and have some fun (like with the person who asked if anything bad could happen by wearing short sleeves in the winter).

As for the piggy bank, it's addicting. As soon as you press A once, you want to hear that coin drop again and again and again and before you know it, you're broke.

I don't see how telling a kid who was asking for help that their character would die if they wore short sleeves is stretching the truth.

I get that it's all in good fun and I'm not saying you aren't capable of being genuinely helpful at times, but like my original post was intended to warn, some of the things you say are just jokes.

At least people had fun with the character dying in winter thing and that's what matters. ;)

Yeah but given, this IS a forum with a population of children around the 13 mark?

I mean it does lead to a reputation of being a bit of a liar, or an ass.
