Pietro vs. Marcel

I don't get why so many people dislike Pietro. Sure, he's a clown, but he's adorable! His face isn't scary at all. He looks so happy and rainbow and fluffy.

Then we have Marcel. I don't hear much about him. But if you want to talk about a scary clown face, look at this:


I'd take Pietro over Marcel any day!

I agree with this 100%. Pietro is adorable. I have an all dog town, and I did not want freaky clown Marcel living there.

i definitely prefer pietro! he is such an absolute cutie with his rainbow wool and happy smile. i've also been thinking of having him in my town alongside with muffy!

i do think that marcel looks cute in a very weird way, though. x)

Sometimes, I don't get it why people freak out so much about Pietro. I mean, what's so creepy/scary
about him? I think he's one of the unique villagers in the game, he's so colorful and cute, how can you
hate this guy? Anyway: Pietro is one of my favorite villagers and I like him alot!

About Marcel: To be honest, he isn't so creepy or scary at all. He has, like Pietro, also a unique
look and overall he is kinda ok. But this is just my opinion...

Marcel's house would've fit perfectly in Vista if I didn't love my current villagers.

I love them both. I had Pietro in my old town. I first saw him at a friend's town and thought he was great because he's a cute rainbow sheep, what's not to like! When he set up camp in my town I was over the moon excited because I had space and could ask him to move in. He was in my town for a year until I reset it.

Again in my first town, Marcel kept showing up in my campsite while I was resetting to find a different villager. After like the 3rd or 4th time he showed up I looked him up to find out more about him because I'd never seen him before. As soon as I saw that we shared a birthday I had to let him move in. He's become one of my all time favourite villagers and when I wanted to reset my old town I made sure to move him into my other town first. It'll be 3 years this summer and he's still with me.

They're really not as bad as people think.

I personally like both, but if I had to choose between them, I'd pick Pietro. There's just something about the little clown sheep that puts a smile on my face.

I have had them both, along with Jacques and Cousteau. The French villagers RULE!! As much as I love them all, my heart forever belongs to my romantic clown, Pietro. But for those fearful or put-off by Marcel the wonderful mime, you are missing out on one of the all time sweetest lazies to grace New Leaf.
