Pierce you jerk!

Ohh man time for a rant post. I moved in Pierce last night via amiibo card and today I found out he plotted his house RIGHT next to my tower, in the process taking out a ton of black roses, a cool stump pattern and some other things. Despite there being patterns all around that area (I must have missed a spot siigh) and literal acres of free land literally everywhere else that was perfectly suitable for a home, he had to set up there. Wow.

I'll make it work but man am I not happy with him right now haha

Ahh I feel you, I'm sorry - it happens. You could kick him out by scanning in another villager (assuming you have another dreamie) and then scan him in again? There could be a way to work around it.

I don't understand why villagers always seem to do this. This is the main reason I don't have a 4th character in town just so I can plot reset and hopefully stop the obnoxious move choices.

I have all four player characters so no plot resetting anymore. And yeah this game really does know how to get under your skin sometimes haha

Oh I don't want to kick him out, he's not exactly in a inconvenient spot and I'd rather just work around him then try to get him to a better spot. And that's so nice of you thanks! I only lost about 10 or so I think? So not too huge of an amount fortunately

I can't plot reset anymore since I have all four player characters. And yeah I could have sworn I had that area covered correctly in paths but I guess one little spot missed was all it took. xx

Oh yeah it's definitely annoying! His house is sort of near mine so I understand why he went there but I hate that villagers bunch up around you. Normally I'm not to concerned with plot resetting (it takes time I don't have) so that's why I have the 4th but sometimes man..lol

Yeah, you must have had a 3x3 area where you didn't put any squares down. I feel the pain, I've missed those areas in heavily landscaped towns before.

I always recommend checking your whole town. So that means behind bushes, rocks, trees and buildings for paths scattered all over the place. It actually took me an hour to correctly plot reset my town and lay paths all over the town. You should try asking friends for help - that’d also help you get the job done more accurately and faster.

Yeah I'm definitely going to be more careful now with that sort of thing! I've actually already started pathing some other areas, no villager is going to take me by surprise again haha

I'm actually thinking the area I missed must have been the area where the roses were since he put his house right on top of it. I had a pattern next to them but I don't think I ever actually put a pattern IN them /facepalm

Nah I just had the roses around a tree, they weren't there to breed or anything. I do like the fence tho! Just doesn't fit my modern theme

Cube just did that to me. I must have missed a spot or something cause i got like 5 spots planned for villagers and he chooses the one small spot i missed in my codes to block villagers moving in and plots there.

olaf did the same to me. he moved in unexpectedly and plotted right behind my house. It was pretty ugly and i was glad he moved out
