They are the layouts with a weird "S" shape to it and too many turns. I assume they are invalid because it's harder to meet some space requirements for buildings and pwps.

I had to reset my map for hours for it, worth it tho!

My town is top left D6, but if I could go back and willingly change my town I think top middle A-C4 all look nice and balanced.
