Picking up someone from the void?

I'm not sure if you could do this but sometimes I see Zucker walking around on mainstreet. He was adopted by another home yet I still see him walk around. Can somebody still adopt him from another town?

Nope seeing them on main street is just something that happens (I have no idea why but I think its cute). You can't do anything but talk with them, and they cannot be adopted. I always see my adopted and voided villagers on my main street

Yeah it's really cute. I kinda miss Zucker though but okay thanks!! <:
