I have been waiting until a physical copy of the updated game to come out before I buy another. The official website says dec 8th (today) and I have called a few places but no one seems to have had any come in. I think it's the same price. It's just comes with one new card inside which now seems silly to wait for. the links on the official site to buy a phyaical copy done even take you to the right product.
Has anyone seen a copy? Or have any information about it?
I believe it is available in the eshop, which is what they meant by the 8th. I'm not sure if they will print physical copies, there is already the regular and nintendo select version but they might.
There is a Nintendo select version out for $20. The website says physical copy with a card in it. Found art for the PAL version and it says welcome amiibo and has a little sticker on it that says "free amiibo card inside". Not sure what to think.
If you already have multiple acnl game copies and have some card packs and get the update it will still work across games without buying different physical copies right..I am new with this and confused I have a ton of card packs from when HHaD came out and a card reader but never got around to it was too into acnl do I need new games I've always used carts or just update and my card packs then get more card packs or are they different packs...I really am trying to understand I still have an opened game cart so I don't need more copies unless they won't work with mine or my cards aren't right. Any info welcome. I do have multiple town carts and a bunch of card packs but am hoping they are right am not sure what to ask for if I need to ask for Xmas.
It's a free update so you just update the games you have from the eshop. The cards all work in game to summon villagers to either give you items or to move to your town.
I have been wanting to get a second cart for a while but figured it was time since they are releasing one with a free card is all.
They have just released new welcome amiibo cards that bring villagers from past games to visit in their RV's however.
