*antPETA's PETA, you can't stop their almond brains from doing this
Apparently people take them seriously enough to actually care what they think of the game!I have a feeling that the only people who take PETA seriously are PETA themselves. Doesn't the rest of the world kind of see them as a joke at this point?
I mean their opinion is trashApparently people take them seriously enough to actually care what they think of the game!
I mean their opinion is trash
this tbh."they really have nothing better to do, huh?"
the tanks in game arent actually that small, they're in response to the fish type. the river fish constantly swim against a current bc thats just what they do in real life for exampleThen doesn't it make it extra petty to be getting all worked up and criticizing people over criticizing a game?
Tbh, I do agree that sport fishing and hunting is cruel. I still do it in games cuz it's a fun mechanic in games but I would never shoot an animal or fish in real life. I also think some of the tanks shown in game before you donate to the museum are small and I feel bad for the fishies lol.
no surprise lmao. they do illegal stuff and pass it off as freeing the animals, but when they free the animals they do it inna way that doesnt benefit themseveral years ago, some PETA supporter twits(i don't think they were officially part of them), had what they thought was a brilliant idea... now, i do believe in hunting for food and such, but not for sport, and i do not believe fur farms should exist. so, back to what these mental midgets(they really had small brains i think) did, they broke into a mink fur farm during an early spring night... for FREEDOM! they released something like 300 of them to the local wilds, and their kits(babies), did i forget to mention these were generations of domesticated minks? animals so domesticated, they would either starve, get killed by local wildlife(i live in ontario canada, we have everything from wolves, bears, cougars, coyotes, bobcats, lynx etc....), killed by farmers accidently(harrows etc don't distinguish between soil/plants and animals) or deliberately in the fields and on animal farms as pests, run over by traffic etc... never mind the kits. these i forgot to add are an invasive species here, so the survivors could cause harm in that way as well... and these idiots were proud of it, even after it was estimated 95% would probably die within months. i think in this day and age, things like fur farming should be long gone, but there are better legal ways to go about it. a lot of people eat meat, a lot don't, but i see no reason in wasting the leather from the animals who are food. raising animals for their fur is disgusting, it's a lot different than seasonally shearing sheep, goats and alpacas, it's a waste of an animal.
when i first read the article the other day, i snickered, because yeah... someone had to have donated those bugs and fish so they could make the "protest". they "might" have had a nice idea at one point when they were formed, now they are a mockery of it.
as we have said, they'd hate nat and chipCheck out this article! LMAO

"It’s disappointing that a game in which villagers from all different species (from elephants and ducks to deer and pigs) coexist harmoniously with humans encourages abusive behavior toward fish and insects. Instead of being recognized as the living, breathing, feeling individuals they are, they’re presented as forms of entertainment for the other villagers. Your island should be a safe space for all animals, big and small."
yeah but you cant raid islands to free the fish. they would throw sass at people and tell them you could even tho the island wasnt being raided, it belonged to an employeeyes but they also dumbly criticized the very few things we have to do in game and by the way blathers is an owl life collection, so is this whole game, really petty for them to be criticizing a game
No because everyone have heard of PETA, but most people don't know how shady, and disgusting they are, and because they take the moral high ground of "THINK OF THE ANIMALS" People just assume they're right.I have a feeling that the only people who take PETA seriously are PETA themselves. Doesn't the rest of the world kind of see them as a joke at this point?
This reminds me of the gory Pokemon parody they made, Pokemon Black and Blue, protesting Pokemon.
Murder these humans, and get murdered in the most horrifying and grotesque way possible in our game. Not to mention, that game was very graphic and gory like you said, which is very hypocritical of them lol. I‘m guessing they wanted to “shock” people with the graphics but like? That’s super tasteless especially for a group that -supposedly- wants to help animals.
