Personalities: Best to Worst (Rank)

1. Normal ~ I think so many normal villagers have such nice designs and they are just very sweet!
2. Sisterly/uchi ~ Even though a lot of their designs aren't great, they have great personalities and dialogue.
3. Lazy ~ I really like how they are always going on about snacks and sleeping because they are relatable and they have quite a lot of good designs!
4. Peppy ~ I love the whole pop star thing and a lot of them have cute designs but it can be a be slightly annoying sometimes when they keep going on about being my best friend...
5. Cranky ~ I used to not really like the cranky villagers, but they have grown on me and I find their deep voices funny.
6. Jock ~ I have nothing against them really, there are just better personalities and their dialogue is pretty repetitive. But some do have cute designs.
7. Snooty ~ Again, I don't really have anything against them but they just aren't the best and sometimes they can be a bit annoying.
8. Smug ~ Although there are some smug villagers with really good designs, a lot of them have bad designs and I feel like they are a bit over the top with the 'smug' idea.

1. Lazy is my favorite! I liked the dialogue much better in NL. I don’t think they mentioned bugs; that is one thing I didn’t like in New Horizons. I liked how they commented on my food decorations instead
2. Peppy was my second favorite at the time I played New Leaf. Puddles was my first Peppy and I grew really attached to her . In Nh, I don’t like peppy or at least the dialogue as much.
3. Normal - I don’t remember what normal was like in NL but right now in NH it is my second favorite.
4. Jock & Smug - I didn’t like these two equally. Hamlet was my first jock and I didn’t like the muscle talk. Keaton was my first smug and he creeped me out. I had trouble getting him to move. Now I like these both much more.
5. Uchi - at the time I was okay with uchi. My favorite was Frita (she still is I think). I think now I don’t like it as much.
6. Snooty was probably my least favorite and it still is I think. I love Ankha though regardless; she’s one of my favorite villagers

6. Lazy - dont offer much in terms of personality but hey, they’re cute and relatable
7. Jock - they offer little other than they love to work out kinda same with lazy, but i find jocks way less relatable. i like the villager designs though
8. Uchi - i like the personality but i just don’t love any of the designs….. im so sorry

1. smug - i just find them so entertaining? like the smugness and arrogance is comical. sometimes they say the wildest arrogant thing and i would just laugh
2. snooty - on the same wavelength as smug villagers snooty villagers also say the darnest thing that makes me double take and then laugh at the audacity
3. cranky - i just think of them as my grandpas and they're kind of endearing in that way
4. peppy - they're just sweet villagers all around and they all have pretty good designs as well
5. jock - i don't understand sports and i don't think i ever will but i find their dedication to their craft entertaining
6. lazy - they're sweet lil guys who just wanna lay down all the time so relatable
7. normal - they're fine? idk i just feel like normal villagers are just nice? and that's all they got going for them? it's a neutral personality for me
8. uchi - i don't think i've ever liked an uchi villager sorry. they are all????? lowkey terribly design lol

1. Lazy. Deli being me favourite villager solidifies this.
2. Cranky. I've gotten pretty close to Apollo!
3. Normal. I like how they act and I already got Gayle's picture by giving her a perfect apple when she wanted fruit! (She was already sendin me letters, so our friendship was high.)
4. Peppy. I have Pate in me town and I quite like her! She's quite a nice little duck.
5. Sisterly. I like Hazel and she even lives next to me house!
6. Snooty. Monique was me first camp villager I took in! I like her looks and her act!
7. Smug. I have Beardo and he's great to be around!
8. Jock. As much as I like the concept, it really ain't me thing. I got discomforted by a thing Leonardo said to me (It was about famous musicians and used towels by them. And I happen to be an introject of one me own self.) Leonardo was pretty nice to be around, but I had to let him go.

Cranky: I love the stand off-ish nature that have and how it’s more clear when you’ve successfully befriended them, I also love how they act old and grumpy

Smug: definition of an incel I don’t know why but they either act like incels or they act like hot-shot yes men

Uchi: I like how caring they are while also being able to crush a titanium rod in under a second. Most of the uchi’s I’ve had on my town were so sweet to me and just a jerk to everyone else

Snooty: they’re so mean it can get exhausting sometimes but I do love how dramatic and self centered they can be, they’re the closest thing we have to the old Animal Crossing villagers

Peppy: I have a town with only rabbits so you can guess I have…a lot of peppys…

Lazy: they can be cute I suppose but it’s kind of infuriating how gross and stupid they are. Not joking they only talk about food and it’s annoying sometimes

Normal: they are so boring. The only thing they say is boring stuff like “I like benches” or “the sun sure is sunny today” no joke, I think I’ve heard Coco say that before

Jock: I hate jocks so much they are so annoying and obnoxious, stop calling me “bro”, stop asking if I bench press, stop talking about your “rippling pectorals” I think I am going to throw up. I hate Kody for enforcing this ideology onto me

 

[Grindellion]

1. Jock - A good amount of my favorite villagers (Ace, Rudy, Stinky, Tank) are Jocks. I like hearing them try and convert the most normal of conversations into something fitness-related, I like that they wake up when I do, and they're such an absolute stereotype I don't think I could hate them if I tried. Plus, as someone who does enjoy playing sports and working out, it's somewhat relatable past the extremes.
2. Normal - (Caroline, Skye) are more favorite villagers of mine, and they're just kind. It's nice seeing nice villagers, I guess? Also, they talk about books a ton, which makes me feel like I should turn off the game and read something. Sometimes, I do. Sometimes.
3. Lazy - (Broccolo, Elmer) Someone who just lays around and talks about food and bugs... it's not the type of person I could ever be, but I like it anyways.
4. Snooty - I had a lot to say about the first 3, not so much from here on out, so you just gotta take my word for it, I guess. It's funny watching an animal in a videogame be overconfident and weirdly flirty? That's all I got.
5. Smug - Same as Snooty; they're both very similar(to me), but they're both also pretty likable(to me).
6. Cranky - Like Snooty again, but instead of overconfident/flirty being funny, it's unwarranted anger/edge being funny.
7. Uchi - There's so few of them that I don't really have a concrete opinion. I don't like them or dislike them, they're just kinda... there? Sorry for the useless opinion.
8. Peppy - The only one I actually dislike! Something about the overly ditziness and, well, peppiness of them just rubs me the worst way.
