Hi I recently finished with all my dreamies list in my Island. I think I would not let anyone go anymore at least for now. I'm just wondering if you guys stop seeking for a new villagers after find all your dreamies or would you still consider let them go after a while or after receive their photos?
at the beginning I had a whole dreamie list that I wanted to get, but I found that as I invited them onto my island and got their photos I actually wasn't completely devastated at the thought of them leaving and getting new people. I've always very much been a fan of having a dreamie list but in NH I've started cycling through villagers more and it's actually really fun! I'm meeting a lot of new villagers I probably wouldn't ordinarily have chosen
I'm at that point with Sherb. I love him and he is adorable. But I have his picture and there are so many other villagers out there. I just haven't decided.
I think part of the problem is that I really love the starter lazy house. I'm not willing to let that go yet.
Stella is our permanent resident and others can come and go after we get their photos. Most of the villagers are cute anyway so we don’t mind to have some new faces from time to time.
So far, there's quite a few that I know will be permanent: Elmer, Hornsby, Julian, Skye, and my two original ones Hazel and Buck are permanent. I can't imagine letting any of them go, at least in the near future. I came close with Hazel, but I ultimately let her stay because she grew on me and I loved the idea of keeping the OGs.
Wolfgang is a maybe! I've had him for a LONG and he is amazing and really grew on me, but I also love Fang and would rather not have two cranky wolves. So it's a tough decision.
When I find the ones that fit in on my island and I really like, I will stop and they will be permanently staying. Right now I know Nan, Barold, Mathilda and Rodeo are permanent. The rest I’m not 100% percent sure about so I let them come and go
Nope! I have no plans to replace any of my dreamies—they fit my island perfectly and I wouldn’t wanna change that up! Haha. I do have other neighbors I wish I had on my island as well, but it is what it is. I’ve been content with their decor and placement too! I made a mountain neighborhood. C:
I only have three permanent residents that I really wanted, the rest will be let go. This always has been my play style where I sorta "wander" through different villagers and decide if they are keepers.
I have three main favorite villagers, all of which currently live on my island. They're the only ones I'll never allow to leave! Otherwise, I don't try to fill my island with permanent residents. I like seeing new villagers.
I don't have a list of "dreamies". I do have residents I like a lot and I won't be moving them out, but I don't think I will ever reach a point where all my islanders will stay permanently. AC for me is all about the animals. There are so many to meet. Being able to move animal villagers on and off my island keeps things interesting. If I stop being excited about having new islanders from time to time, it probably means I will stop playing the game.
Once I get all my dreamies they're 100% never leaving (unless Nintendo adds some new villagers that I really love in an update). Not only do I really like them, I design areas of my island with those specific villagers in mind, so getting rid of them would mean having to change up a bunch of stuff. I'll be happy once I've gotten all of them tbh.
I liked most of the villagers I had. Only 7 are staying and the other 3 are my cycle plots. I have a general idea on who I want in the end but it's fun see new villagers interact with my permanent ones even though all villagers of the same personality have the same dialogue.
I have found I've become really attached to my villagers and only have two or so that I'd be willing to let go. I'm hesitant to let go of many because some are the new characters without amiibos. If they do come out with amiibos for the new villagers I'd probably cycle through some of their spots too. Either way, three or four of them are NEVER leaving lol.
I have a few, but if I had to pick one, it'd be Pekoe. Never gonna let her go. Ironically, her house is one of those annoying Starter houses, but it's the nice, wooden furniture one. So with all the stuff I've given her it looks like a western weeaboo house filled with zen gifts and comics now
I think my Flo is funny af with how she dresses and talks (her catchphrase is uh, vulgar to say the least) but she's also such a sweetheart and my starter so I'm too attached to let her go anyway. I just let my other starter Sprocket go and I'm so sad about it.
Drago is also a permanent resident because he was one of my first 3 to move in and the only one of those I kept. His real house is a million times nicer, but I think it's unique how MY Drago lives in a dirt house.
Also Chief is literally my favorite villager ever. I can't let him go. He was one of the few villagers I really wanted (I try to avoid having "dreamies") and he came to the campsite!!! I wasn't even trying at that point, the stars just aligned and he came! And when I let him live on my island I loved him even more!!!! He's a sweet man in his mid 40s, a preppy boy in high school and still living in the 80s. Still retaining his messy youth by sleeping on cardboard boxes and organizing all his furniture in the middle of his room so some reason. I love him.
And I'm definitely planning on letting Marina and Sherb go but I'm unsure about my other villagers.
I have about 7 villagers that I absolutely love and want to keep forever and the other 3 I am willing to let go after getting their photos to cycle new villagers! But it’s always hard letting them go after keeping them for a while (at least for me) o: I get sentimental about villagers
I have 4 permanent villagers because they are NECESSARY for my island for...personal reasons.
Other than those 4 any others can be subject to being cycled out.
