Perfect Town issue?

Isabelle keeps telling me I need more PWPs for a Perfect Town.

However, I can't build any more PWPs. I have 30. What the heck am I supposed to do?

Get rid of the ones that are lowering your town ranking. This includes the illuminated ones, oil rig, trash can, etc.

I took out the trash can last week and replaced it with a bench. I don't have any illuminated projects or the oil rig.

List the ones you have then. I am sure one of them is a lowering one.

No, it just means that you have too much of the same project. So, for example if you have 10 street lamps instead of 10 unique PWPS then you'll earn a lower town rating.

Garbage Can
Jumbo Monitor
Oil Excavator
Tire Play Equipment
Picnic Sheet
Traffic Light
Illumination items
Tower
Trash Can

I can't. The only thing it will let me build is the reset center which doesn't count towards the rating and I don't want. I must have missed one on my list.

They may be unevenly spaced out. Also, I've heard villagers count toward the underdeveloped rating. If you have less than 10 villagers, then that's probably affecting the rating.

YES, you need to space them out, try to put one at each corner of your town, I did that and that's how I got perfect town rating :0

Yeah, the bottom right is empty.

Police Station in top right
Wind Turbine in top left
Lighthouse in bottom left.

Going to demolish a bench and rebuild it in that corner. Then I'll put the Windmill there when I get a request.

Mmm.. I earned the golden can a long time ago and I definitely had the tire play equipment back then.

It's not that there are too few projects. The balance between projects, trees and flowers needs to be perfect. They need to be spread throughout your town. Some areas have a projects while others have more trees and/or flowers.

I only build 4-ish non-building/destroyable projects and it was perfect immediately. Alongside I had a large quantity of flowers in my town, alone with nearly all original trees + fruit orchards.

What I find strange is that I got perfect town not long ago with 10 villagers and 8 pwps. 1 villager then moved out and I demolished a pwp. I still had a perfect town rating, even with 9 villagers and 7 pwps.

I can give you my spare gold can if you want so you don't waste time. It took me months to get a perfect town and still don't have one.

Consider cutting back on the amount of patterns you have on the ground. I don't know if it has any effect, but I always came across large amounts of patterns (filling the entire plaza and station) in towns of people who has trouble achieving a perfect rating.

I had, and still have, patterns for a main road. But that's all. I still have the perfect town rating, it never went away.
