I am very confused as to why I don't have a perfect town
I have:
89 Flowers
113 Trees
15 Work Projects
I have less than 10 items on the ground and I make sure to pull all my weeds
I also think you need to have great relationships with all of your villagers. There needs to lots of communication and trust.
Be a man or a woman of your word.
As you play the game you will hear "dings" after certain conversations.
If a villager asks for a a certain type of fish and you said "yes" to her request -- you need to see it through. If one of your villagers ask for the 15th time to come and visit --- have them come and visit.
The developers designed the game to teach us about patience.
Be nice and excepting of others.
I would be really surprised to read someone achieved a "Perfect Town" while being mean to their neighbors.
^ Really? I haven't read that in any guides yet but I'm sure that it would do some good to at least have good friendships with 4-5 villagers.
I had accidentally TT'd to the wrong date near the end of the June and all my hybrids died, and heaps of weeds appeared (in reality I must have went back in time 30 days). I thought it would take ages to build up a good town status, let alone perfect. I actually felt like crying. That was the only time I considered restarting.
However, I built the caf? after building about 12 other public works and with I think ~140 trees and a sparse flowers, I managed to get a perfect town status 2 days later. Have about 110-200 trees. Flowers always help.
Make sure you have a balance between two kinds of PWPs: Abundant nature (basically PWPs that contribute to greenery, like the trellis and flower clock, wind and solar energy and abundant living) and Abundant living (things that improve accessibility like bridges, campsite, i.e. almost everything else.)
