Are you wanting to grow perfect trees? As far as I'm aware you can only grow perfect trees from your native fruit.

You can only grow perfect fruit of the fruit that's native to your town.

You could still collect all perfect fruits though and keep them in your home/storage ^_^

I would offer you some but my native fruit is Oranges ;_;

You know, only the native fruit of your town will grow perfects? If your town is oranges. And you plant a perfect apple, it will just be a regular apple tree.
