You know what I had forgotten about those fruits (Plus lemon????) before I had gone onto my New Leaf game to see how different New Horizons is (Jeez I don't remember New Leaf looking so...pixely lol)

I know what you mean lol, went to my town in NL to check on Diana, Bob and Marshal. Was greeted with Barold, Marshal in boxes, and a weird pixel looking like town.

I hope the game brings more fruit, I remember Lychees, Persimmon, durians and mangoes. Hopefully in a future update they will bring perfect fruit and make it easier to get all fruits without visiting someone.

When I first started, I went to the Nook Miles Islands expecting to find bananas, but was getting extremely frustrated when I could only find coconuts! After looking around online discovered bananas were not in NH I was so shocked! I really hope they do add more fruit in future updates, especially on the Nook Miles Islands!

This is an unpopular opinion, but to me it’s not a big deal they cut it.

Sure I was surprised at first, but all it really is is a slight recolor of one fruit. If we could get all five types in different colors it’d be cool, but I never really liked that it was limited to just one. I never made my money by selling them either, so the loss is barely noticeable to me.

What does bother me is the lack of Island fruits—I do hope they’ll be back in an update soon!

Edit: just realized calling them “exotic fruits” doesn’t make sense considering they’re not really exotic depending on where you’re from.

Big agree. I think perfect fruits were kind of an annoying feature of New Leaf’s. That said, I can see a use for them in New Horizons, though not a particularly exciting one. I would love it if there was a fruit you could eat that would fill your “power meter” all the way to 10. That would make going into a rock-smashing, tree-uprooting, landscaping frenzy a bit quicker. I would find that useful, as someone who is deep into landscaping at the moment!

Yes! I was thinking the same thing...its been so annoying shaking near 30 fruit and eating them one by one to move and break rocks when landscaping...plus the aesthetic would be fun to decorate with lol

I really hope they add perfect fruit. My native fruit is cherries and I think they look so pretty when they are perfect.
