Perfect Fruit Trees without Perfect Fruit!

In my town of Rowlett, I grew a perfect orange tree, and I did it properly, but today when it should be done with fruit, it's grown, but it has no fruit! Please help!

my understanding is that perfect fruit trees grow fruit only a few times and then stop growing altogether

But I just started the town, and I gave another perfect orange to Bianca. Now I have no perfect oranges.

The way a perfect fruit tree works is you get a limited amount of harvests on one tree, but once it's "dead" the leaves fall off and one of those fruits you just shook off will be rotten

Just keep waiting and the fruit will grow back

Uhhh you mean you planted one Perfect Orange into the ground, it grew into a tree, and then it finally grew into a tree like the Oak Saplings, but there's no fruit?
That's normal! On the next day, three Perfect Oranges should appear on the tree

Or if you meant that you shook the tree, but the leaves fell off, the Perfect Orange tree is dead. They only produce 4-7 times, then they die and you have to plant a new one.

That is really weird it should grow fruit and not just stop and grow nothing.

Like KitsuneNikki said, either it hasn't finished growing yet, or, if you shook it, it's a dead tree. The dead trees won't ever grow fruit back on them, so the only option is to keep them or to chop them down. :>

Never mind. I found that they did grow the fruit today.
