Perfect Fruit Question

Everybody probably has grown some but I have never, ever seen one in my town. (I got my game on Christmas.) Is this the same with some people or am I just seriously unlucky and my game hates me?

One shows up on your first day of playing. If you miss that one then you just have to wait for another. What's your town fruit?

That happened to me as well, I accidentally sold my first perfect fruit.
Fortunately I had the same native fruit as a friend of mine, so he gave me a punnet of them. This was after going through a month or two without any perfect fruit at all, which was frustrating and not recommended.

Since it will take a very long time for fertilizer to appear in your store, I suggest buying a basket of your native Perfect Fruit from somebody here.

If it's Oranges or Pears I could help you with a full punnet.
