Perfect fruit help?

So, recently I got my first perfect fruit and I didn't eat or sell it. I did plant it, but when I logged into my game the next day the tree had died
It wasn't next to any buildings, ect. and it had plenty of room so I don't know why it died.

I was wondering if their would be anybody willing to spare a perfect apple? Thanks~

You probably hit a dead spot. They exist in this series. It's a spot where no matter how many times you plant something, nothing will grow there...
Anyway, I'll be happy to help by giving you a perfect apple to try again.

It's no problem. I know how annoying those are. What I did with my first perfect was cut down a tree I didn't want and planted it in that spot, knowing a tree could grow there.
