So, I'm thinking of maybe getting a second copy. But I'm scared that I might not be able to keep up with two towns at once. I might be able to in the summer, but in the fall with more games coming out that I love, I don't want to lose my towns. How people with two (or more) copies keep up? Do you play other games too or just AC? Thanks for your help :).

I put Beautiful ordinance on all three of my towns, and play for a little on each town and kinda rotate when I feel like it!

I have a second copy that I haven't touched in forever. I simply don't have the time nor the energy for a second town. Doesn't help that I have a list of games I've started but not finished yet, so I'm trying to give priority to those and then maybe in the future I'll spend some time on my second town (not seeing that happening anytime soon, though).

i completed my main town a while ago, now I'm working on my second town :)
I just alternate between games.
i.e. I play 2nd town today, then Ii play my main town tomorrow.

I have three towns and they all have different purposes. I play them all depending on what I feel like working on. As long as any of them are holding my interest at a given point in time, I feel like they were worth it, even if I don't play them for exactly equal amounts of time.

I tend to get rrreeeaaallllyyy obsessive and immersed about games I play, so ACNL is the only one right now. I bought both Pokemon games, but I haven't started them because I KNOW once I get back into Pokemon, ACNL will drop from my list of interests. That's how my brain works.

It's hard, I play my main town most of the time, because whenever I get to my second copy I feel a bit lost. I don't like the villagers in there and nothing's unlocked. It's a bit of a problem, although I do like selling my perfect oranges there. I put up the bell boom ordinance so that helps. I guess it all depends on what you're using it for.
