People that don't plot reset?

I dont plot reset because I have 4 characters with full storage fully upgraded houses and stuff, and I dont want to delete them.

I don't plot reset because I just don't care. I never understood people's obsession with their towns having the perfect layout

I don't because everytime I got a villager I really wanted I could care less about where they moved, just that they were there. And I suppose I got really lucky because like 5 of my villagers moved in a straight line for some odd reason :3 I have not figured out what caused it as now when someone moves in they get the most horrible spots and I didn't change any pwp's

I *totally* plot reset, not because I fancy the tedious process - I plot reset because I'm sick and tired of seeing villager houses landing right in front of mine/ in front of bridges / crash landing on orchards / right in front of town hall /other horrible and most inconvenient spots. See that happening in my cycle town way too often, so I have zero desire to allow the game, or myself, to 'play naturally' and be 'organic' XD

Since I am aiming for a 'comfy' town (which I managed to achieved), and not a perfectly lined elaborate layout,
I would very much agree that the benefits of spending some time (1-2 hrs per night, max is 3 days) to put my beloved villager pals in a more desirable spot outweighs the alternatives.

I would not want to have to cycle out a favorite villager because "their house is in a terrible spot' or have this constant reminder "oh if only I have choose to plot reset, I don't have to [insert regrets here]"

I only plot reset with villagers I REALLY like. I'm usually lucky with placement, and if someone moves in a bad spot I simply move them out. Plot resetting is so tedious.

Up until I had the town of StarFall, I never used plot reset. But now, I do it a lot. I may have seen some villager plots south of the river before, but I exploited the villager reset trick in my town. Because of this, no animal moved south of the river (unless if you wanna count Brewster). In fact, there wasn't a single animal that lived south of the river to begin with, and controlling this prevented them from moving south of the river. Now I have a lot of projects there. As a result, animals will never move south of the river, even if I didn't use the reset villager trick.

I don't in all 3 towns.
Main town did have a house drop on half of the pathway. She was the 10th villager in and I finally figured out how to work around her.
2nd town was a TT town but is real now. They're all over the place. This is my easy going town and I let guest visit there.
3rd town I set the all 4 houses in a row in 2 days. 3 villagers moved in the row and most of the others are over to the right.
It left a lot of room at the top for caf? and police station to go in between the retail and the town hall.

It's not necessarily about having a perfect town. It's about not having stupid house placements the game shouldn't even allow.

I don't plot reset because it takes the challenge out of the game. Plot resetting to get exactly the villager you want and putting their house in exactly the perfect spot just makes the game too easy, IMO. Plus, I don't want to lose any of my dreamies.

I read this and have to say that to me it seems just the opposite! Plot resetting (I don't do it because I'm terrified I'll lose somebody or screw it up) and getting who you want and where you want them takes a whole lot of patience, time, and effort. To me that makes the game MORE challenging. Just accepting what is given is easy and takes no effort on the part of the gamer - it just happens. But to MAKE something happen takes a lot of effort. I admire those with the dedication and ability to do it the way they want and succeed. :)

I don't plot reset, mostly because I'm too lazy.
I wish I had done it when Punchy moved in though, because he is in the worst spot on the entire map. :|

I didn't use to, because it seemed like a lot of work for what didn't really matter to me at the time. But then I started trying to plan out my town and I found several houses that were just getting in the way. :/ So now, as tedious as it is, I feel like it's worth doing. (I'm a bit of a perfectionist too, so.)

I don't plot reset but sometimes I wish I did. I really liked the placement of all my starting villagers, but now everyone seems scattered. I love Genji but he just moved into the worst possible spot... he destroyed part of my orange orchard!

I don't plot reset because I don't want to waste hours of my life trying to do something that will have a minimal impact on my game

I don't plot reset...mostly because it sounds like it's annoying and a lot of needless work. All but one of my villagers are on the lower half of my map (Diana's house has been next to town hall on the upper part since the start), and I'm fine with that.

Rather than plot rest, I put PWPs where I don't want my villagers to move in. Should I ever let Diana move out, that's what I'll do to keep everyone zoned to one section (I've got PWPs and alt houses in places on the upper half to stop villagers from moving in there; they'd either be too close to a PWP, a rock, a river, or an alt house to move in).

Sometimes I've plot reset, but not so much any more just because i'm lazy ahah. I got punished for my laziness with my last move in who landed smack down in front of one of my bridges, which I have now demolished and will need to relocate.

I don't plot reset because luckily my villagers happened to be in good places or I just planned around them. But when Ava moves out and I get another villager in a bad spot, I might have to resort to it.
