People can't visit me without erroring?

Every time someone tries to visit my town, it always errors. This never used to happen.
I can visit other towns and the island but...
Why is this happening? Sorry if this isn't the right section

There is no error code

Are there many other people using your internet at the time you're trying to connect? That can cause a problem sometimes. Also make sure your ds is fully updated? I had a similar problem before now but mine just seemed to fix itself without reason.

It's fully updated. At time of having visitors, only 2 people were using the wifi...

Does it give you a message saying something like "An error has occurred forcing the software to close"

Are you really far away from your router, or do you have an old DS?
