Peninsulas

Do some people have huge island peninsulas? I have one that barely fits a lighthouse

Fortunately, mine was just enough room to fit my lighthouse. I even had enough room to add a bench as well. I know some island styles barely have it, but typically they’re never too spacious.

Mine was able to fit my house fully upgraded (first place I put it when I started) and wrap flowers around the house.
That was the max capacity though.

Mine is probably the smallest it possibly could be... I kinda hate it tbh.. I wish it was big enough to fit a house...I didn't know there were size differences.. I might have considered resetting in the beginning had I known. But it's too late now.

Oh boy, here we go again! My peninsula could fit a house and a tree or two, but I've seen some that made m(in)e feel inferior.

I have the same as you-I can fit a lighthouse and that's it . If I knew beforehand, I would've picked a map with a larger peninsula, but oh well.

I also have a small peninsula. I put a picnic area on it as I prefer how the lighthouse looks on the rocks. I swear my rocks are less spacious than others I've seen as well though

I think I got the same peninsulas on both of my islands but on opposite sides.From looking at some other islands I'd say that these are on the larger side.I put a recreation area on the peninsula from my first island along with a lighthouse.I don't know what I'm gonna do with the other one yet.

I managed to terraform and fit a lighthouse on my peninsula but it was a tight squeeze.

Mine can comfortably fit a lighthouse on it and the shape honestly seems to suggest it actually is for a lighthouse if that makes sense. I'm not too bothered by my peninsula but it is definitely a nice shape. It's not something I would reset for, though I am happy I got this shape and not a longer, skinnier one even if I choose not to utilize that space in the end!

I decided to do a small cron field with mine. To me, mine feels quite small, but that's because I've seen people with larger ones.

i can fit a player house plus hedges plus flowers and a 2x2 path on mine / can also terraform the entirety of it and still fit a villager house plus garden on it! :")) definitely one of the "biggest" appeals of my map when i was picking, haha.

what makes the largest ones nice imho, is that the shape is very visually pleasing. a nice rotund and symmetrical sea viewing platform

Ok what that sounds massive.

I feel like I have the smallest peninsula ever because I can't seem to fit anything on it. Here's what I did with my tiny peninsula:

I basically made it a little entrance way into Tabby's private beach. My peninsula is too small to fit a villager house on it (or even terraform without it being awkward for that matter) but I was able to fit Tabby's house further in land.

Here's what it looks like zoomed out with Tabby's house in view. Her whole area is a little overgrown seaside village. If I had a larger peninsula this would be a whole different area lol but right now this is all I could come up with using this space.

I definitely have thicc peninsula envy and while I wouldn't reset my current island over this, the peninsula would be the top thing I'd look for in a new map if I get a 2nd island

I think mine is reasonably sized but it’s also in a weird position as it’s next to my 3rd tier cliffs I’ve made mine into a little picnic area

Mine fits a rock and three trees I haven't really tried doing anything with it yet which is probably why a few money spots spawned there.

mine is really small compared to others ): I'm trying to make it into a little garden/green house,
as I will be moving my tiny farm where the purple mums currently are (come on green mum! it's been weeks)
but it's not done yet since I'm still missing some furniture >.<
