Pekoe or Molly?

Have both, keep pekoe, Molly is cute but pekoe is solo much more exciting and interesting looking

I won't be able to have them both, so I have to choose one xD Thank you for your suggestion!

i'd keep pekoe! i have her in my town at the moment, her house is in a terrible spot, but it doesn't really matter to me — i love her to bits :B
molly camped in my town before, and i wasn't too thrilled actually! pekoe's design seems more interesting to me. (plus your headcanon is adorable! may i ask though how you plan to incorporate molly into your european themed town? :> )

And thank you! I honestly have no idea how to incorporate Molly yet, but I think her interior fits well!
At the moment, Pekoe's garden looks like this:

If I were to move Molly in, I'll most likely move her right on Pekoe's spot, tear down the garden (*sobs*), and probably put a pwp surrounded with black roses and red carnations.

Keep Pekoe. She's cuter imo, but she is also a starter for your town. That's always something to look back to. I regret letting most of my starters go, and I think if you let her go it'll be like that for you too.

Ah thank you! Yes I'm afraid that I'm going to miss her really bad if I let her go ;.; So far I have given three of my starters away without much remorse, but I'm really not sure with Pekoe. I talk to her all the time so I've grown attached to her ;_;

I've had both in a while, and in my very biased opinion, Molly is better. While I did adore my Pekoe, I decided to let her go. It was a very hard decision but I'm very happy in the end due to how amazing Molly is. Also, come on, Molly is the cutest thing in the game, she's the only duck villager I like.

Maybe you should give Pekoe to a trusted friend who really wants her, and just visit her from time to time. If I were in this situation, I would definitely do that, and also keep Pekoe's garden as a kind of tribute or memory of her.

I agree with FallingStar's idea, if you have a friend who would keep her. Even if you can't, I'd still get Molly, your houses will be perfectly aligned, and it seems like you love her a lot, to consider replacing a starter with her.

If I can be completely blunt, the reasons you imagined to rationalize Pekoe's presence as an Asian-themed villager in a European themed town, giving her a backstory, the bamboo garden, etc. are 100% more creative and interesting reasons to keep her than "Molly's cute and she fits my town theme."

I'd keep Pekoe.

Or maybe move her to my cycling town so I can still see her. But it'll be extremely adorable if Molly took care of the garden after Pekoe left ;_; *dies*

@Hirisa: Hahahah! I love the way you said that xD It began as a frustration relief from seeing random asian house right on my face (her house is kind of in the middle of everything!) For some reason the headcanon kept getting bigger and bigger after that xD
But I agree with you! At the moment I'm leaning towards keeping Pekoe. I've had her for almost a year, I can't imagine my town without her ;_;
