Pekoe or Molly?

Sorry for creating one of these threads, but I?m really torn. I?d like to hear your opinion! T_T

Pekoe was my starting villager, and I wasn?t too thrilled since I wanted to create a European themed town. As time passes though, she grew on me. I also started to make a weird headcanon about her and became even more attached.
I like to think that she?s an immigrant in my town, and she made her garden an oriental bamboo one to remedy her homesickness.

My problem began when Molly moved into my cycling town. OMG SHE?S SO CUTE. I fell in love the moment I talked to her. Pekoe is adorable, but Molly is on a whole different level of cuteness. Like, so insanely adorable it?s painful. I really want her in my main town now.

Molly will fit my town better. Plus I?d get to plot reset for her house. Pekoe?s house is one square off from everyone else and it?s been bothering me for a while.
But if I get rid of Pekoe, I know I?ll miss her and her antics terribly. That also means that bamboo will become extinct in my town.

Please let me know what do you think I should do. It?s times like this that I wish we could have more villagers T_T

If I was in your situation, I'd probably hold onto Pekoe for a while and then let her go and get Molly instead. I usually get tired of villagers after a few months and want to change them a little bit anyway, even if they are dreamies.
But there are some villagers that I can simply never, ever get rid of. If Pekoe is one of those villagers for you, don't get rid of her. You'll regret it. ;-;

Another option is to let a different villager go and have both Molly and Pekoe. I'm sure they'd be good friends ^^ I love having more than one normal around, they're so cute <3

Ahh thank you! I agree that Molly's the cutest duck ever. I love all her expressions T_T
I also love the smaller villagers! Marshal and Anicotti are also peeking through flowers and it made me melt every time <3
I'll think hard about moving Molly in!

Thank you! Pekoe's adorable, I love those big blue eyes of hers and I know I'll miss them badly if she moves away. I think I'll give it a few more nights to think about it >u<

Thank you! I think that sounds great, I'll keep Pekoe for a while and keep talking to Molly to see what I feel.
For me the villagers that I can never ever get rid of are Fang and Anicotti, but I've had Pekoe for almost a year and I don't think I ever got tired of her *u* She's really nice and I enjoy talking to her, but just not as much as Fang or Anicotti.

I can't really get rid of another villager unfortunately, since I want my town to have balanced genders and personalities, and I'm extremely attached to my peppies...
Uuugh why we can't have more villagers T.T

I can see your problem here! It's hard to part with starting villagers, but in the end I would say that getting a 'new' villager you absolutely love will last to the end! I might be a bit biased because Molly is my all time favourite and I haven't met Pekoe yet. But if you want to stick to your European theme I would say Molly. I have her and she's awesome, really adorable and small. My whole experience of AC changed after getting her in my town!

Yes the fact that she was one of the last two remaining starting villagers really made me torn! ;w;
I don't think I can get rid of someone else though, since I want all personalities and equal number of boys and girls. If I were to get both Pekoe and Molly, I'll have to get rid of Felicity. She's one of my favourites so that's not possible ;.;

Yes I was thinking about it, that maybe it's time to let Pekoe go to someone who will adore her more than I do, But I was afraid that I'd really miss her after she's gone. I've let a lot of my starters go, but Pekoe really gave me a hard time. Hardest decision ever haha ;.;

i'd keep pekoe! i have her in my town at the moment, her house is in a terrible spot, but it doesn't really matter to me — i love her to bits :B
molly camped in my town before, and i wasn't too thrilled actually! pekoe's design seems more interesting to me. (plus your headcanon is adorable! may i ask though how you plan to incorporate molly into your european themed town? :> )

but yeah, it's your decision in the end though! this is really tough :U

Keep Pekoe. She's cuter imo, but she is also a starter for your town. That's always something to look back to. I regret letting most of my starters go, and I think if you let her go it'll be like that for you too.
