Patterning around a rock?

So there's a particularly difficult rock in my town thats RIGHT where I need to lay down a path. How would I go about getting around it? I really cant avoid it.

Honestly, you have to either make the rock go through your path, or you move your path around it.

Those are the only options I know of.

Usually I just put the path around the rock. That or shift the path down a square if possible.

I would put the pattern around it. X=rock O=path

or something like that
