It looks like the auction rules were not properly followed in this thread. Since MasterM64's bid came in the form of an edit after the auction end time of 6:00PM CDT, the winner should be p e p p e r who was the last bid to occur at 5:59PM CDT before the auction ending of 6:00PM CDT.

I would like to say that I was very sorry for picking and choosing rather than giving the egg to the actual winner. I didn’t read or pay attention to every post before I made my post, and I have made a reversal to the transaction and gave the egg to the real auction winner. My choice was made out of improper reading, not bias and personal choice.

Even though I didn't mean to cause an issue here, I will be sure that the timestamps work out next time since I think sticking by timestamps is the way to go in the end regardless of lag coming into play (wasn't sure that I was going to originally win in the first place because of that timestamp discrepancy). o/ I'm glad I was able to help my friend out and was able to do my part to resolve this dispute.
