So I was looking at my passport in ACNH and thought hey wouldn't it be cool for us to have additional pages to put small stamps in when we travel to friends or other pals islands?
Bear with me, now inputting a new feature isn't easy, but it could just start without backlogging which would be problematic (having stamps from islands you have visited before they patched together this feature.
The feature could just be pages, endless or could actually fill up entirely for an achievement or could get a nook achievement just by getting 5, 10, 50, 100 stamps.
There could be a Dodo feature when you reach 100 an item or something is available, possibly even a DLC where you could visit a "rare" location after getting 100.
This is just an idea, but here comes the cool part. Each island gets to design their own stamp, or pick from a huge list of pre made stamps. When designing a stamp there would be controlled designing, so ppl don't use unsavory things for stamps. The designer could only have symbols that would not be able to add up to something inappropriate, or just give us our flags as stamps. Although a flag could change, a stamp would be unable to be altered after first go, unless you spent Nook Miles or something to get another go at it but it'd be like 10,000 miles or more maybe.
