OK! I just picked up Pashmina to come live in my town... I want to avoid what happened with Frita last time and she moved in 2 spaces from the Cafe entrance... So how do I approach this tomorrow step by step to check her spot and switch it
First . DO NOT LOAD YOUR MAYOR
second: just click new save file
Then find the spot, if not happy with it just click the home button and do the process again
If you know she's moving in BUT her plot hasnt been set up already. Set the time to 5:58am load the town and quickly save and quit with your mayor.
After this is done, when it hits 6:00 am in your game *do not load the town before this* create a NEW character, find the plot and decide whether or not you like the area. If you don't, use the home button and close the game, reopen the game and create another new character. As long as you don't load the town with your mayor the plot should be moving around until you find your desired location.
Once you find a perfect spot, create a house with the new character and save and quit. Then demolish the new characters house and voila you're done.
If you do not Time travel and the game has naturally passed 6:00am just create a new character.
For me, I just TT to the next day when I know she will appear. Then just start up a new character. Never start up your mayor or any existing characters, if you do there's no turning back since that means she'll be set.
Go through the motions of the new character, then when you get out of the train station, go around looking for her plot. Make sure to look EVERYWHERE (unless you only have one spot you want her in, just go to that spot and if she isn't there then quit). If you don't like the spot, quit the game and start a new character again. Keep doing this until you find the spot. If it takes more than a day and if you're picky like me, then that's when time becomes an issue, but as of right now, this should be enough, unless it was already really close to 6am for you when you plot reset.
If you do like it, go to Isabelle, the go to Tom nooks and place your new characters house. Go to Isabelle and talk to her and everything until you get out of town hall and are able to save, save. And voila, done. Go to the main screen, go to the newly created character and delete them. Start up the game and her plot should be in the spot you wanted.
