Pascal luck

Anyone have been extremely unlucky with Pascal?
I've been going for scallops everyday but the only DIY I ever got was the one you get when you meet him for the first time. Ever since then all I get is pearls and it's sad LOL.

Does anyone else have bad luck like me?

Although it's not guaranteed, he seems to be likely to give you a DIY if you find a pearl before finding him. That's been my expeience. I have all the outfits pieces and 10 of the recipes. Of those 10 recipes, 6 of them were obtained after finding a pearl first. He's only given me a pearl once after finding a pearl first.

Yes. I've only gotten 2 diys from him on my mail and 1 clothing item. luckily i have 2 extra characters so ive been getting diys and stuff that way

I know I was getting a lot of pearls from him when I was TTing, but I think when I hit about 20 pearls (which is how much you need to create one of each mermaid item), he started giving me DIYs again. But I guess it does come down to luck.

It took me forever to get all of the recipes, and that was with TT. I had only gotten 3 DIYs when I completed all levels of the Pascal Nook Miles achievements (20 times of him showing up). I wish I had kept track of exactly how many scallops it took because my luck was hilariously bad. I wish they would've made it so he can't give you pearls until after you obtain all of the DIYs/clothing.

Playing multiple residents helps. I got all the mermaid DIYs this way.

Interesting, for me I found I was more likely to get a pearl from Pascal after I had already found a pearl! I was extremely unlucky, and ended up with around 15 pearls and only 3 DIYs before I gave up and bought them all online

I have had ok luck. I don’t always remember to look for him but when I do I mostly get pearls. I have managed to get the mermaid tiara, shoes and one of the dresses and 3 diys

And on topic, I must have better luck with Pascal than most. The only thing I haven't received directly is the tiara.

My boyfriend and I now meme about how I'm just gonna get pearls while he gets everything I've wanted.
His able sisters always stocks the items I want and he has all the variation colors of furniture I want from nooks

I don’t really have bad luck with him, just missing one DIY now. Like others have said, it helps having other accounts to get the mermaid DIYs faster!

Oof, that is rotten RNG luck, I'm sorry.

I've certainly gotten a lot more pearls from him, but I have received several clothing items and a handful of DIYs. I hope your luck takes a turn for the better soon!
