Paranoia around "I've moved out" glitch

Hello everyone!

I recently obtained Kiki's Amiibo card, and used it to evict Dom. I just had someone come and convince him to move to their island. Right after they left, Dom's house went dark and displayed the "I've moved out" message. Is this something I should be worrying about? Kiki is still in my campsite waiting to move in, so I'm not sure if I should TT to the next day to see if it would resolve in case I screw it up even more. I'm also worried about that person's island, and if Dom will show up for them.

This is normal. Whenever you adopt a villager out, their house will display the "I've moved out" message as a fail-safe to prevent other people from adopting the same villager.

It's only a glitch when the message displays for a villager moving in/on a villager that seemingly randomly moves out. Besides, the glitch has been patched as of the 1.2.0. update.

There's nothing to screw up as long as the other person has confirmed that their empty plot is sold to Dom. Feel free to TT ahead after they've confirmed that.
