OMG OMG MY 3DS ISINT WORKING AND IM VENTING THIS OUT TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTENNNNNNNNNNNN...!!!!!!!! So earlier today, i was playing with my bff, she left my town, i tried to go to her town and then my touch wouldnt work!has this happend to anyone else?please dont say im stupid and i only freak out, because i've tried every thing and i'm currently leaving my 3DS alone to check on later, and i need all the research i can get!

I don't think putting a bunch of exclamation points in the title is helping anybody... It actually messed up my browser.

Anyway, your touch screen may not be calibrated. Go to the settings on the 3DS and calibrate the screen. Try to turn it off, and turn it back on and see if that works. Charge it. There are many things that could be wrong with it... Your best bet is to contact Nintendo Support if nothing works for you.

Your touch screen isn't working? It might sound weird, but if you're using your finger, are your hands wet or cold? Try warming them up or using your stylus.

If you're using your stylus, is it wet? is there gunk on the tip? is there gunk on your screen? Have you damaged your touch screen recently, or dropped your DS?

Try turning it off and back on. If that doesnt work, navigate to your settings with your d-pad and reconfigure touch screen.

This happened to me once, but I don't think we have the same problem. I broke my first ds when a nintendog wouldn't sit. So I accidently stabbed the screen (I was like 8). Unless you have used force on the screen, I suggest looking at the screen callabration

Let the system die and give it a full charge before you try to turn it back on. If that doesn't work, you're probably going to need to send it into Nintendo for repair/replacement.

That doesn't make sense; why would they not allow you to send it in? You're not giving enough information for anybody to help you... First you said it was only the touch screen that didn't work, but now suddenly everything except the A and Power button aren't working? Give us all the information from the start so we can help you ASAP.

Did you do anything unusual prior to it not working? It shouldn't suddenly not work. Does the home button not work either?

For anyone on the internet to help you, you need to describe in exact detail what you were doing before it died, what you did to it as it died and what you've done so far. In detail.
Saying 'It doesn't work, help me' doesn't help.

i did this : go to nintendo.com click on support, do this stuffs : Support Home > Nintendo 3DS Family > Article, click on warranty information, i then click on the repair/replace link, click on 3ds family,then it goes to the article thingy!

Don't you have to email them? I have no idea how replacement works, I don't even have a warranty on mine.

But uh, that sounds like sort of a weird sort of malfunction, especially since the story keeps changing... .-.

GOOD NEWS!!!!! MY 3DS WORKS!!!!!!!!!! i have no idea what was wrong, but heres the whole story, i was about to go to a friends town,and all the sudden the touch screen wouldnt work! sorry for all the confusion! i guess waiting is the best thing to do in a situation like this.and for a celebration, im havin a party! it starts at 7:00 Eastern time / 4:00 Western time! (eastern time) only the first three people who submit their mii names can come! be there!
