Hello, I've always wanted to try paint tool sai but, I downloaded a free one once and it gave me like eight viruses, sigh

so could someone please send me a free download to PTS and can confirm that it does not have viruses! thanks​

you could also just get the official test version and crack the serial number for yourself, I guess this would be a way without getting any viruses, but I think I shouldn't get any more detailed... i'm no criminal, no no no

when you save as a .png choose the 32 option

for the air brush you maybe have to scroll down the window on a normal layer, not vector/linework.

what i mean is, when you right click an empty box by the brushes, is there an airbrush option

"mix"... you mean blending for coloring (shadow, reflections)?
you can use the "brush" for it
even if you're too lazy, watching a tutorial is really helpful and better than trying to explain through words :/

you find one, make new brush, put in setings, etc etc

take a look into your sai folder, go into "toolnrm" and check if you have a file named "23"
if you open it with editor, there should be written something like this:

if you have everything like this, I can't help you. If there's something different, try to change it into the settings above. If the file "23" is missing, you will need to download it somewhere and put it in the folder. I can try to upload it for you, too.

pff who actually buys Sai? I feel bad for the company DX It's such a popular program though.

When you're in Sai, look to where all your brushes are. Right click a blank square, go down and click "airbrush." This will create an airbrush tool you can use ^-^

Also, my Sai doesn't save transparent backgrounds, but if you save it as a PSD and open it in photoshop, you can save it as a transparent png there If you don't have photoshop, you'll just have to find the version of Sai that does save correctly

I found my download for Sai on tumblr, i'm not sure exactly where though.
