Overrated/underrated villagers

In your opinion, what are a few over and under rated villagers ?? I personally think Chrissy/Francine, Carmen, Bianca, Marshal and Colton are a little overrated. I think a lot of villagers are underrated. Specifically Joey, Puddles, Punchy, Snake, Muffy, Merry, Kat, Biskit, Peanut, Ch?vre, Mint and Purrl.

Overrated: Marshal, Lucky, Whitney and Rosie.
Underrated: Daisy, Penelope, Alice and Filbert. (Filbert deserves love and respect. Just because he's a tiny blue squirrel doesn't mean he's ugly).

To me, Marshal, Whitney, Margie seem overrated.
I wish people gave the eagles a chance as they are underrated.

Barold is one of the best villagers and he is often cast aside for villagers such as Marshal and Pietro. It is a shame that the world doesn't know of his brilliance.

I think the term "overrated" is overused.I don't evaluate villagers based on their level of popularity.As I've said before,if I like a villager,I get 'em no matter what anyone else thinks about them.I do think that there are underappreciated villagers...villagers that some people won't consider because of the way they look and/or the appearance of their house.I got to appreciate some of these villagers from when I used to have a cycling town.They'd move into my cycling town and after I got used to them I'd get to know them a bit and think that most ACNL players won't give them a chance because they've never actually had them in their town and never really experienced what they had to offer.I would put Wart Jr.,Jambette,Rodeo,T-bone,Nate,Beardo,Freckles,Bubbles and a host of others on that list.

In my opinion:

• Rosie (Even though she is one of my faves)
• Bob

Underrated:

• Alfonso (He's my number one boi)
• Daisy
• Mint
• Lily

I have quite a long list of villagers for underrated, but I just listed four.

I find villagers like Marshal, Fauna, Merengue, Beau and Rosie a bit overrated. As for underrated villagers,
it feels like lots of people don't really like the hippo villagers that much, although I think they are actually
quite enjoyable. Rolf is also a villager that deserve more love, same goes for Bella, Barold, Boone, Scoot
and Monique.

I agree with this. The term overrated is used quite a bit. I too like having just random villagers in my town even if they are popular or not. In fact, one of my new favorite villagers I started to like is Freckles. Some people think she looks too geeky and ugly, but I find her to be cute and fun to be around. I know I've said before that I don't really like Wart Jr., but I'm sure if I gave him a chance, maybe he wouldn't be so bad as I think he is. Some villagers just aren't appreciated very much, whether popular or not. I do have some dreamies that are popular, but really, I like them all, so yeah.

In my town, Marshal is apparently my best friend, but he is overrated.
The most underrated in my town is Mallary. Not sure why I like her so much.

Of all of the villagers I've ever had, the most overrated was Julian.
The 2 underrated that I loved were Jacques and Kitty.

I'm going to say almost all my favorite villagers are overrated: Marshal, Merengue, Chrissy, Francine, Whitney, Skye, Marina and Zucker.

Under-rated villagers that I like: most alligator villagers, Rocket and most gorilla villagers, most kangaroo villagers and dobie (unless he's overrated too).

I think some overrated villagers are Whitney, Rosie, Merengue, Zucker, Goldie, Marshal (but he is so cutee lol)
I frankly don't care that much about a villagers popularity, for example i have Julian in my town and i really like him, even though people say he is overrated.
Some vilagers i think are underrated from my town are Tank, Chevre and Victoria. I just like their designs and they are fun to be around lol. Also Punchy (idk if he is popular?) and Cyrano.

Overrated Villagers are: Marshal (even though I have him), Poppy (same as Marshal), Francine and Chrissy (I have both too..but they're not in my town together), Diana, Whitney and Julian.

Underrated Villagers are: Sally (she's my most favorite villager ever!, I also liked her when her name was Hazel), Ricky, Hazel, Claude, Doc, All the mice villagers, Sheep villagers (I don't think they're very popular), Lobo, Sparro and Filbert (He's not very popular...I think).

I know what you're thinking- where's Marshal? He's got a lot of hype, but I realized there's more people disliking him because he's popular than the people that like him, lol. Besides- he's got a special place in my heart since my brothers and I make story-like jokes about him, Bob, and Kody as a group.
