Overrated films/TV Shows/animes/etc

Just what the title says~

I personally find Frozen really, really overrated.

Everyone was so hyped I thought it was going to be a good movie, but instead it was boring. I didn't liked any song, not even 'Let it go'. And I hate people saying that it's Disney's best movie, when Lion King is MUCH better.

Sword Art Online is overrated too~

Umm a lot of the popular ones in my opinion. Adventure Time, Gumball, Spongebob, Naruto, Attack on Titan, Bleach, One Piece, Madoka Magica, Free. I just don't care for them personally (MY OPINION. OPINION!)

... oitnb is getting over rated... and supernatural is hella overrated.

sao is pretty over rated but it gets more hates than likes

Avatar the film not the cartoon series, it was just annoying, everyone would speak about it.

Never watched Frozen, so my opinion can't count on that but it is getting annoying to hear everyone speaking about it.

Paranormal activity, gosh why are they even continuing with these films?

I thought this at first too, then I actually started watching it. I personally think it's really creative, unique and outrageously funny! I think it deserves the praise it gets, if only to allow for more of these types of shows to rise to the top.

Actually the painfully dry sense of humour in Bob's Burgers is hilarious.

That show is ridiculously stupid though.

I like OP, but I can see why people would find it overrated.

I haven't seen Frozen, so I can't say if it's overrated or not, but I definitely think SNK is overrated. As much as I like PMMM, that one's kind of overrated too. Rewatching it was kind of a letdown tbh.

I agree with so many of those previously stated. Not all but many.
Some that I haven't seen mentionned:

The Simpsons
All the X-men movies
Naruto, Bleach... Any of those mainstream and painfully commercial animes.
The Big Bang Theory

To me, the most overrated Disney movies are The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. I've never understood why people include them in their favorites.

TV shows that I think are overrated and I didn't care for are Dexter and 24. Especially Dexter.

I also think too many shounen anime tend to get overrated. One Piece, Naruto, Fairy Tail, etc. Especially One Piece. Other anime exists, you know.
