Over the Garden Wall

So I recently reset one of my towns so I could do a spooky town and then it hit me, WHY DON'T I DO AN OVER THE GARDEN WALL TOWN? If you like spooky things, weird things, Elijah Wood, Gravity Falls, and other things of the like, and do not know of Over the Garden Wall I urge you to find it online and watch it.

If you do know of it what do you think of this idea? I could make Wirt, Greg, Beatrice(in human form) and the Woodsman. So far I only really know I want the Woodsman's house to be super dark with tree cut outs and a lantern for the main room and maybe a painting of the beast behind the lantern or something. Other things I know I could do would be a room with pumpkin heads and scarecrows and a bunch of wheat, a rococo room with a picture of "the ghost woman" from the mansion episode, not sure what else but I'm mulling over some ideas.

If you're a fan what do you think? Have you heard anyone else doing this before? IS THERE A POTATOES AND MOLASSES THEME?

It sounds fantastic! Over the garden wall has such an earthy and mystical feel to it that I'm sure it would translate very well to Animal Crossing!

Take your ideas and run with them cause they sound great so far!
And there's a lot you can do with the outside as well, from a thick forest to the harsh winter landscape. Have fun with it!

Ohh! That's such a cool idea! I love OTGW wall and now it really struck me how there isn't a town for it yet. Maybe you can also recreate the school for animals (classroom and mess hall) and maybe even the tavern...?
What if you have like a frog, horse and bird villager and maybe even some of the animals from the animal school?

I think it would be cool if creepy skeletons were scattered around or buried in a certain area of town or a room for them to represent the Auntie Whispers episode.

I was thinking of making little old fashion vests to put up as the designs so the villagers would end up wearing them cause they're all the upright walking animals anyways, they just need instruments and cute clothes! OH MY GOD I WOULD NEED A GORILLA!

Last night I was creeping around dream towns, and I found turtlewigs Nowhere, and another really nice one called Edelwood. I basically looked for towns with someone named Wirt in them. It was cool seeing how they did it and it made me want to do it even more. In Edlewood they had a room in a basement that was a lantern in a dark room and when you turned the camera there were giant beast eyes and it was pretty frightening. BUT SUCH INSPIRATION! I feel like I should also do it...

I decided I am just going to keep my Halloween themed town and just use OTGW to do my other three houses, it'll make my Mayor's witchy house seem kind of out of place but whateverrrr. I already have villagers I don't want to lose in it such at Coco so I don't want to have to restart and have to find them again. And I have too good of a town set-up. So I think I'll make Wirt, The Woodsman, and Greg. I am going to catch and have displayed in each of the houses at least one soft shelled turtle. I want to like make a "Garden Wall" of bushes and trees like blocking off the section of woods that I want to make into the OTGW area. I have so many ideasss! I know for sure I want to put most of the "spooky" rooms in the Woodsman's house, and most of the "happy" things in Greg's house. Not sure what to do with Wirt's house yet, but I am getting there.

Things I wish they had in game to make this better: clarinet, leafless tree cut-out, scissors, a blue bird in the princess cage instead of the yellow one, larger customizable pictures to hang on the wall....
