The town I'm building is a fairytale forest town (sort of -- not quite there yet). My favorite part of the town is the campsite. There's trees and a water well nearby, and I'm working on creating a sitting area out of special stumps by the pond. I also wanted to put in a log bench across the stumps by the pond. But then last night, Peaches suggested an outdoor chair and now I can't decide if I should use that instead.
What do you guys think would go better: The outdoor chair or the log bench?
I mean, if you’re going for an enchanted forest then I would say log bench. Gotta keep it forest related. And use some stepping stones while you’re at it too. And it’s best if you use dirt paths for this enchanted forest town. It would also be brilliant to use a wisteria trellis and a geyser for this as well. Make sure your characters and houses are fairy themed too.
I’m no expert on the villager suggestion for this epidemic, but I’d say go with mythical villagers like Drago and Julian.
I agree on the log bench. I have it over by my waterfall, and it's perfect.
I have the picnic blanket set up on a curve of the river, and I wish it were just the blanket, rather than also having the chairs; they look horrid. (I know that wasn't what you were asking about, but it's kind of similar, so sharing that.)
I love the outdoor chair and have several in my town, but I am waiting for my new uchi to suggest the log bench for my campsite area. I will replace the outdoor chair I have there in a heartbeat!
OK, Hon, my outdoor chairs look like they belong right where they are (except at the campsite!).
I put an outdoor chair at a little fishing dock I made in my town, but log bench would def suit your town theme a lot more. (I feel a bit sad when I don't use my villagers' suggestions though lol)
Since your town is going to be a fairytale forest town, I would go with the log bench. It's fits
better with the theme you use for your town then the outdoor chair in my opinion.
