Please, for the love of god somebody please tell me how to do puzzle league. I've been stuck on the same level of Puzzle League in story mode (easy level) for days! I've wasted hours a day doing this. No, practice doesn't make it better. What are your strategies??

(This is coming from somebody who beat every level of Catherine in hard mode before they released the easier North America version.)

Not that good at it myself, but hopefully I can help you a bit...
  • Use your power as soon as you get it so you can use it as often as possible.
  • In the beginning, it's a bit slow, so use the B button to get the next row instead of having for it to wait to "load".
  • Sort your blocks while you're waiting to be able to make your next move, so put all the same fruit together. It'll be easier to match them if you only have to move the third block when it gets close to the ones you've already sorted, or they might all end up together when you delete other blocks or get the next row, anyway.
  • You don't really have to worry about combos, especially in easy mode, so just match groups of 3.
  • Your power will stop the rows from moving up for a few seconds, which can give you a bit of time to catch up. Matching other blocks or moving the row up with B will end this effect, though.
  • If all else fails, button-mashing worked in a similar game for me, lol.

here are a few strats i use idk if they'll help:

  • if i'm in a rush to get the blocks back down i use horizontal wipeout asap. (i'm sure it works with other abilities but i don't have any amiibo figures so. who knows) this stops movement for a moment and i use that time to quickly make lines of fruit. the movement also stops every time you make a line, so it's good to make them as fast as possible.
  • if i can't use horizontal wipeout i press the home button and go to my game notes to take a closer look at the screen and plan my movements. unlike other time-based minigames like the island tours, this will actually pause the minigame while also letting you see your blocks.
  • if there's a tower of blocks but only on one side, quickly move the top blocks off the tower. this shortens the wall and thus gives you more time.

there are others but i can't explain them well...i'm sorry ^^'

I do all of these! Lmao, I'm awful. I should probably try doing the press the home button thing then
