Am I the only one who would want another Orre game for the WiiU? They pretty much have all the models already, and they just remade r/s/e, so it would make sense to return to Orre.
As much as I enjoyed the Colosseum titles, I'd rather they try something new for the Wii U. Having a unique storyline in there was great, and I hope they're able to come up with something for this as well (and also ignore all those people wanting a full Pokemon adventure on the Wii U).
Also, Genius Sonority has only made relatively small games in recent years. I would think that after Colosseum/XD/Battle Revolution, Nintendo would want them to develop a new Pokemon console title as well.
Hey, I wouldn't be complaining about another Pokemon XD game, the storyline was great and the mechanic of stealing shadow Pokemon from people was awesome, too! It sure did give us a new twist on the series and in a way, it felt a little more grown up.
Core Pokemon games will always be on a handheld console, but little spin offs and things are usually console based. XD and Coliseum were spin-offs, and darn good ones at that!
I definitely want another one. Heck, I still play XD/Colosseum when I feel like doing a Mt. Battle challenge. Battle Revolution was loads of fun too, but it unfortunately lacked any type of story and just focused on battling.
I loved the Orre games because I always thought of it as "meanwhile, in another region far away". Like after your main-region adventures, you get to see what's going on in some other region. xD
I think an Orre game for the Wii U would work wonders.
If anything, I think there will be another Battle Rev type game, transferring your beasts onto the home console to see on a big HDTV, glorious. It's not a bad thing, however. I don't mind if it's all about the battles, as that is what the core game mechanic is all about. Besides, Pokemon Stadium was all battles (and the awesome mini-games) and nobody complained about that.
