Original villager?

So are all random villagers who move into your town original until you start changing them like their greeting, clothes, house etc..? Or is it random if they are original?

Any villagers that move in are original UNLESS they come from a random streetpass, another players void or if you adopt them in not orginal form in another players town.

As Dorian said. So campsite visitors that end up moving in are original. And most villagers from cycle towns as they tend to move them in and out quite quickly.
