Original clothing/furniture of villagers?

So I've been lurking around the Villager Trading Plaza a lot lately, and when people are moving, the seller sometimes says whether the villager moving has the original clothing/furniture. Does it matter to you if the villager has different clothing/furniture than its default? Personally, I don't mind.

I don't even notice because they're always outside. All of them are required to wear the shirt I have displayed in the Ables shop eight times.

I don't mind. I can always send them their original furniture, and usually when I send their original shirt they wear it *u*
I mean it's the villager that matters most to me haha... though I can see how some ppl might want the villager mainly for their furniture (in the cases of villagers with rare furniture)...

It doesn't matter to me, you can always restore it if you like. Some of my villagers I like in their original shirt, but lots of them I like in different clothes. same with their houses. Some houses I like to keep, some I like to redecorate.

I don't really care xD they always change clothes anyway eventually and it all gets mixed up

i love seeing them in new clothes. i delivered o'hare a shirt from victoria and he looks fabulous

Penguins tend to make some shirts stretched out...but otherwise I don't care :3

I personally don't care, but I've had buyers/pick-uppers who did care and asked. Sometimes even if you don't interact with them at all, by the time they are done with your town they have picked up new clothes and new furniture (and gotten rid of their originals). Go figure...
