Do you guys organize where your flowers and fruit trees are? If so, why and how? I'm putting down paths and am annoyed by how my trees are everywhere and I can't find a good way to arrange my flowers. I can't shake the feeling of wanting both an orderly pattern and having everything all over the place. ono

I put my flowers along paths and near PWPs. Also next to villager houses.
As for trees, I have small orchards for my fruit on the edges of town. Normal trees are in a certain pattern that sort of frame around paths or PWP. Very few trees are actually all over the place.

i have had this problem too but i have a plan! i will make pens of flowes aound my path and inside those pens will be moe flowes or trees

My paths are outlined (well WILL be outlined) with pink and red roses. My trees are in groups (as I think it looks nicer), I have some patterns, like a Union Jack, and I also have checkered flowers. Some areas are just filled with one flower though

For now I moved all my flowers to different houses of my villagers organized by type until I get enough hybrids to make patterns/paths and surround their houses with only 1 or 2 colors. For trees 'm gonna wait until my next harvest to organize my fruit trees and line them by the train station.
My flowers are pretty organized since they're easily moveable, but my trees are kind of in organized blobs. I'm waiting until I finish getting all of my PWPs in place before I cut them down and re-organize, though.

I used to organize my flowers in little groups according to what type they were, but now that I've TTed a bit and have an overwhelming amount of flowers, I can't be bothered.

Most of my town has my flowers organised in blocks while I try to get the same number of each of them. Then I'll start organising them more interestingly. I normally give each villager their own little matching garden.
My old town I had random chunks of patterns and sections where they were mixed and all sorts, and this town I'm only really happy with a couple of my villagers gardens so far and my pathway to the cafe. I've lined my main pathways with bushes excluding where I'm building a campground as there isn't enough room for a bushed pathway and all the PWP I want.
And my trees are pretty much ones I started with. I use them to fill in gaps at the end mostly so right now there are just sporadic clumps and a few large empty patches.

I have trees literally everywhere, which is annoying, but I made sure to move all of my flowers next to Town Hall. (I only had 4 flowers, so I either sold or trampled the rest. I had to go to the Island and steal all of the flowers there. Mwahaha >

If by "orderly pattern", you mean symmetry and straight lines, then my town is lacking in that department. Heh. However, that's not to say everything's haphazard. The only thing I left up to chance was the placement of my villagers' houses. I don't reset; I am fine with wherever they moved. But I do lay out my paths, trees, flowers and PWPs with objectives in mind. Which are, mainly, to evoke a feeling of all things natural and to encourage exploration. So I have narrow, winding paths, trees everywhere and flowers of many different colors. I like that it's all a bit unpredictable in Zingzang.

You can hire people to clean up your town and place flowers nicely and prettily, as well as planting bushes and creating bush/flower paths *points to a pig*

When I can get my hands on an axe, I'll chop down all the trees in the way of my paths. I'll then start to line them with stuff like flowers and more organised trees. For now I plant trees wherever there is a space
Originally I placed my paths down just to get the layout of them, and yes trees were all over the place including in the middle of my paths. Over time I worked to move the trees around to better spots. I like to randomly place them though, I enjoy a wild natural look with the trees. Same with flowers. The only thing I place with some order are a few bushes around entrances to important buildings.
