Opinions on residents living near major buildings?

Just wondering, what do you think of villagers living near major buildings such as the town hall and Re-Tail?

I'm personally not too fond of it and was greeted by this mess Deli made, plopping his house right between the town hall and river:

I really dont like it. Willow moved in so close to my police station :c I really like her tho so I guess Ill have to live with it forever?

It just looks so unaesthetically pleasing lol there needs to be a bit of distance!

It's very annoying. I messed up on plot resetting with Beau so he's right between my train station and town hall... I guess I'll just have to deal with it. -____-

depends, although it's usually pretty annoying. it's not as annoying as them moving onto your fruit orchards or your hybrids, but it's still a lil' annoying. :V

it depends, Walker's house is in front of the police station but off to the side a little so it's not too bad(the entry way to the station isn't blocked or anything). i actually don't mind that some of my houses are a little close to the cafe bc i think it's cute. i hate having houses in front of/too close to my town hall or near my re-tail though.

Pate lives about 3 diagonal spaces from Town Hall, but its not bothering me too much....

I really hate it!! Like, there's a whole town to choose from and you pick that spot.

If it's on the left or right of the building, sure yeah why not that would be cute
but holy crap if it's in front or behind that's awful

near town hall, Recycle, the Roost, is all fine, but crikey not to where you cant even see the front door like what's in your pic. off you go to the plot re-sets, oy!

Ugh! That happened alot to me before I started plot resetting.

Also for some reason the villagers in my other town loves trying to sit in front of my house or just really close to it.

This is the reason I plot reset too. I'm not super strict like some plot resetters. I don't have specific places I was each villager to move in to, but there are a few places I do not want them, and that includes right in front of my town facilities, or too near my house.

It really depends for me. If they're next to it, like on the side, I don't mind, but if they park their home directly behind or in front of a building (or even a PWP) then I'm just like, "You villagers really have no sense of house placement..."

Lily moved in right next door to retail and I don't mind. I wouldn't be happy if someone moved in right in front of a building, though.

As long as they're not RIGHT IN FRONT or RIGHT BEHIND it doesn't matter much to me. Though of course Hamlet's house is RIGHT IN FRONT of Town Hall, that little butthole!

i absolutely hate when they move in anywhere in front of a major building. they become such road blocks. luckily, i have no villagers currently who are in a bad position c:

I really dislike it, thankfully the villager that moved in front of retial left eventually. I celebrated a little when they did, it was annoying as.
